AR770 – Model 1867 Swedish Remington Rolling Block rifle.
Swedish model 1867 in the original calibre of 12.7x44mm R/F, a full length Remington Rolling Block rifle Serial No.: 1111. One for the dedicated Remington collector, it is a Husqvarna made example; it has the correct Type ll action with locking screws. The vast majority of these were converted to centre-fire: this remains an unaltered rimfire. In addition, it has the concave breechblock and the unaltered rear-sights, with the most unusual (but early style) pierced battle sight. The rearsight is as original and not altered to later post 1879 metric settings. Metalwork is clean with some small patches of staining.  Woodwork is clean with only very very minor usage marks. Numbers are matching. Original models are seldom seen, with most converted.
