Quillon removed:  this happened 1916 onwards with many also shortened – for issue to Milizia Mobile and support troops not issued with the Mannlicher 1891 or Vetterli 1916 conversion to 6.5mm. Old repair to scabbard. Faint markings to scabbard. Some old rust stains to metalware
