Detached Starr back action carbine lock, 1865 cartridge model with straighter hammer nose. “STARR ARMS CO” over “YONKERS. N.Y.” US Civil War and British trial issue.  Complete detached lock with good colour case hardening. Only approximately 5000 of the .52”RF carbines were ever made
