A 16 bore turnover tool, 19th century, Belgium, made to G.Prevost Brevette (patent). Gustav Prevost was registered in Liege 1877-1899 and also held a number of patents for firearms from 1861 until his death in 1899. He was succeeded by his widow to 1903. It has G Prevost patent mark to clamp and an odd star shaped mark on the clamp arm – casting or assembly mark?
