Joseph Richter postcard showing eight Imperial Austrian soldiers standing and kneeling, with Mannlicher Model 1895 rifles, plus their Lance Sergeant. All with knapsacks and showing the shoulder roll for carrying the slung rifle, raised rifle sights set for 600 metres, bayonets carried not fitted. All wearing the pattern 188 ammunition pouch. NCO wearing marksman lanyard.  Reverse written with stamps and address of Zaluzany in modern day Czech republic. Photograph from Josef Richter, Leitmeritz a Elbe, so likely a posed photograph taken in barracks as comrades; based upon location, possibly  42nd infantry regiment (recruiting area: Theresienstadt), 74th  (Jicin), 94th (Turnau) or 98th (Hohenmauth) all part of the Leitmeritz army corps. Now Litoměřice in the Czech Republic; the town later became infamous as the largest sub-camp of Flossenberg concentration camp
